Mac Eudora Multi User
  1. Quit Eudora (if it's running).
  2. Doubleclick the hard drive icon.
  3. Doubleclick the System Folder.
  4. Click once on the Eudora Folder.
  5. Choose Duplicate from the File menu.
  6. It's ready to rename, so type something like Arnie's Eudora Folder, and press Return.
  7. Doubleclick this new folder.
  8. Click once on Eudora Settings.
  9. Choose Make Alias from the File menu.
  10. It's ready to rename, so type something like Arnie's Mail, and press Return.
  11. Drag the alias to the desktop.
  12. Close the Arnie's Eudora Folder (or whoever) window and the System Folder.
  13. Doubleclick the folder that Eudora is in (usually Internet Applications or Eudora Light Folder).
  14. Click once on the name of the Eudora Light icon.
  15. After a second, it should let you rename it. This is the one that was already working, so if it was checking Bob's email, type something like Bob's Mail, and press Return. Leave that icon there.
  16. You can put the other new Mail icon (the one from step 10 & 11) anywhere, in any folder you want, or leave it where it is.
  17. Doubleclick the new Arnie's Mail (or whoever) icon, and wait for Eudora to open up.
  18. Go to the Special menu, and choose Settings.
  19. Click Personal Information. It will show the old settings.
  20. Change the POP Account, Real Name, and Return Address to the correct information for the second emailbox.
  21. Click OK.
  22. Now, you can check one emailbox or the other by doubleclicking the appropriate icon. If you check one mailbox and then want to check the other, you need to choose Quit from the File menu before you open the other mailbox.
  23. Enjoy!
