General Manager, Paso Robles Newspapers, Inc., Paso Robles, CA. CEO/VP of one daily, two weekly newspapers and other publications, 1988 through 1996, served as Marketing Director 1976 to 1988.

Richard Daly ReddickPublishing Consultant, Sacramento and Washington, D.C., 4/72 to 5/76. Clients included Public Service Research Council, Third Century Publishers, Christian Freedom Foundation. Served as interim Publisher, Human Events, Inc., Washington, D.C., 10/74 to 2/76 (A weekly publication group covering the Capitol from a conservative, free-market perspective. Responsible for its business office, advertising, production and subscription programs, Capitol Hill Graphics division, mailing list rentals, news services). Also served as interim General Manager for ten months for the owner of three Northern California weekly newspapers.

Tax Director/ Communications Director/ Legislative Advocate, California Manufacturers Association (CMA), Sacramento, CA., during the 1973 and 1974 Legislative Sessions. Was retained to help coordinate the successful campaign to eliminate the state inventory tax as Tax Director in 1973, also appointed editor of their weekly Sacramento Report for 1974 session.

Legislative Aide, California State Senate and U.S.House of Representatives (Senator Wm. E. Coombs, R-Rialto, Congressman Burt L. Talcott, R-Salinas, and Communications Director for the State Senate Minority Leader and Republican Caucus), 1969 to 1973.

Editor and Publisher, Rialto Publishing Company, Rialto, CA., weekly newspaper group, 1966 thru 1968. Retained as Advertising Manager in 1965.

Education: Graduate of the University of Southern California (B.S. in Business Administration), Orange Coast College (A.A.).

Interests: Past president of a local Kiwanis club and presently Lt. Gov. Elect of Division 24, Chamber of Commerce, former Scoutmaster, former member of the California Society of Association Executives, California Newspaper Publishers Association, several newspaper professional organizations, a past volunteer for school, youth and charitable organizations. Formerly on the Board of Directors of the local division of the American Heart Association, the Literacy Council, North Cuesta Audubon Society Chapter, and currently on the board of the Sousson Foundation (youth conservation projects), local Charity Health Walk committee and am a committee chairman of the Paso Robles MainStreet Association.
