This Image portrays the entire Blank Sizer program. All boxes with
figures appearing in blue are input by the user. If you choose to use the "Spin/Flip
Y" method of punching or cutting the sheet simply check the box and the "Clamp
Stock" figure is eliminated.Material usage is calculated by drop which is
represented by a percent of the sheet, so the smaller the percentage the more efficient
the usage of the sheet. The display is listed in order with the most desirable (least
amount of drop) at the top. After choosing the desired X and Y blank size the results are
calculated and displayed in light black.
The results are useful to the planner, estimator and particularly the programmer with
part placement, web and quantities displayed instantly.
Many features are not listed but the gist of the program is to calculate an economic
part with limited input. Default input is saved if you desire.
