After the biggest snow year ever, Lake George was so late breaking up it happened when all the Pines of the eastern Sierra dispersed their pollen. An event so full of fecundity that a sky blue eyed, pollen haired, ice sculptured Sierran Venus could have risen from the meeting of the pollen and ice.

The "Birth of Sierran Venus" image is part of the Sealth body of work which are digital images of landscapes, scenics, and the human form and are based on locations in the Lake George, Mammoth Lakes Basin, Mammoth Lakes, Eastern Sierra, High Sierra and Central Coast of California.
