An obvious avalanche path occurs just west of the Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite National Park.
However the expected chaos and violence of avalanches is lacking. The trunks are stripped of limbs
and branches and are placed in alignment. An alternate explanation could be occurring unseen before the Park
finally opens Tioga Pass.
