Pine Drops are saprophytic plants of the High Sierra. These up to four foot tall plants feed off of other plants hence are usually found as lone individuals. A cluster is very rare. What could be the attraction for this cluster?

The "Pine Drop Stockade" image is part of the Sealth body of work which are digital images of landscapes, scenics, and the human form and are based on locations in the Western Sierra, High Sierra and Central Coast of California.
