Scott, Many years ago when I had a Triumph TR-6 convertible I bought a direct-reading type carburetor synchronizer tool to balance the 3 side draft carbs that car had. This type of tool is placed directly against the throat of the carb (with the engine operating at the desired rpm) and it measures the direct airflow passing into the carb. While I no longer have the car, I still have the tool and it also works wonderfully to quickly synchronize the dual carbs on my Rotax 503. I like it much better than using mercury type carb synchronizers (which I also have for use on my Honda V65 Magna motorcycle) because there are no hoses to hook up and no fittings to deal with on the direct-reading type. You can buy one for $29.95 at J.C.
