From: "mark smith" To: ; Subject: UL: carbs Date: Saturday, December 11, 1999 7:50 AM just had another instance of a local assembling the carb top parts with the needle clip above the white plastic retainer. Also, the needle was worn pretty good and only the '15' of the '15K2' was still readable. just a bad os black silicone under the clip at the needle will fill the small opening in the slide the needle goes through and eliminate this wear completly. This will also assit the tension on the clip from the needle spinning. The other alternative is a new carb at 150 bucks or the repair kit, needle and clip asembly at 50 plus. The cable is VERY difficult to install with the clip above the white retainer since they must both go in the carb at the same time !!!!!! Do it the right way, the easier way,,,,,,,,,,,, -- Mark Smith mailto:trikite@trikite.com Tri-State Kite Sales 1121 N Locust St Mt Vernon, IN 47620 http://www.trikite.com
