Apparently mud dobbers don't sting - wasps do, and wasps build paper nests, not mud. Anyway, I followed a listmember's advice and hung diesel-soaked pieces of cloth at each corner (high) and near places I thought the dobbers were entering, and that solved the problem. A side benefit is that the mild smell also keeps the wife from hanging around the hanger too much . The smell gets to her if she hangs around any longer than the time it takes to bring beer:-) Tim Adams Mid States Roofing Lubbock-Austin-Ft. Worth www.webroofer.com
