STEP ONE: Open Moto4lin, Click on the Connect/Disconnect button to link to your phone

STEP TWO:   Next, Click the “File Manager” button.

Now click the “Update List” button. This will list all your phones volumes on the left column, respectively A, B, and C.

STEP THREE:  In the side column, click on the C drive icon, locate the tippy triangle on the left side and click it to dump or disclose the nested folders in the C drive. locate and click on the mobile folder, then finally the Kjava folder.

STEP FOUR: 

Create a backup folder on your desktop for your files to be stored. To do this click on your desktop once. From the menu bar on the top of the screen select “File”  “New Folder”. 

Title The folder “My phone Java Backup” or  whatever you wish.

Inside that folder create 2 more folders and label them /c/mobile/kjava and

/a/mobile/kjava. Trust me this is good for organizational reasons.

you have now created a place where you can download your phone’s data to on your computer.

STEP FIVE:

Click back on Moto4lin to bring it to the front. Because of a bug in Moto4lin, you will have to one by one click (select) each file listed in the kjava folder directory and click “DOWNLOAD” to save it to your Mac. You can Try multiple selecting, but I have never had any luck getting it to work this way. Lets start with the c/mobile/kjava directory. Notice in the picture I have J2MEPCK hightlighted. This will be the frist file in the list. One by one selecting each file in the list and clicking the “DOWNLOAD” button.

Place the downloaded file(s) in the correct folder location you just created on your Desktop. Repeat this procedure for each file until done.

Step Six:

Do the same for the files in your /a/mobile/kjava directory. One By One..Download.

Save to your a/mobile/kjava folder on your desktop.

Double-check your folder on your desktop, count the items and compare to what you see listed in moto4lin. If everything is matched, you have successfully created a backup of your Java Apps.

Good Work! You have now Backed up your phones Java Apps to your Mac!
