THE
FIRST SEAL
Chapter 6
Verses 1-2
6:1 "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the
seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the
four beasts saying, Come and see. 6:2 And I saw, and behold
a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was
given to him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."
I. 1st Seal Opened
A. When I saw the Lamb open one of the Seven Seals
1. I heard one of the Living Creatures say,
a. With a voice like thunder
b. "COME."
B. And I looked and Behold!
1. A WHITE Horse (White = Righteousness)
WHITE:
Matt. 17:2 The Transfiguration:
Garments became White
Matt. 28:3 The resurrection: Lord's Messenger in
White garment
Rev. 1:14 The Description of the Heavenly Messiah
Rev.3:5 The White Garments of the Saints

Rev. 14:14 The White Cloud
Rev. 19:8 The Brides Robes: The righteous

(Not a Royal Crown - diadem, as in Rev. 12:3-9 Which
represents the seven (7) Satanic kingdoms)
3. And He went forth OVERCOMING inorder that He
might OVERCOME.
(Literal rendering)
Note: the same Greek word "nikvn" is used in the
Letters to the Ones Called Out and is translated as Overcomes.
Rev. 2:7, 11, 26-28; 3:5, 12, 21
Keys of the Kingdom: Authority over the Gates of Hades.
Matt. 16:18-19; Luke 8:29-31, 11:15-28
"This is what is spoken of through the Prophet Joel."
Joel 2:28-29; Acts 1:4-5,8-9, 2:1-4,14-21
What is this? The Last Days? Habakkuk 3:8:-15
Consider it: White = Righteousness
Bow = Covenant Promise
Crown = Victory
Conquering = Overcoming Power, Commission
Let us look at what John has seen so far:
1. He sees the Throne of God surrounded by various
Heavenly Authorities and the Host of Heaven.
2. He sees God with the sealed scroll and no one
to open it.
3. He is told by a Messenger to patiently wait that
the Lion from the Tribe of Judah the root of Jesse will overcome
to open the Scroll.
4. He then sees Jesus suddenly appear in the midst
of the Throne as a Lamb that had been slain. Jesus'
a) Death,
b) Resurrection,
c) and Ascension.
5. He sees Jesus take the Scroll
(taking back His Authority)
6. He sees Jesus opening the First Seal
(Jesus sending His Administrator - The Holy Spirit to His Ones
Called Out).

SECOND SEAL

Verse 3-4
6:3 And when He broke the second seal, I heard the second
Beast say, "Come and see" 6:4 And another, a red horse,
went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace
from the earth, and that men should slay one another; and a great
sword was given to him.
II. 2nd Seal Opened
A. And when He opened the Second Seal
1. I heard the Second Living Creature say,
2. And another,
a. a Red Horse, went out
Red:

heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo
a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in
his hand. 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the
four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures
of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine."
III. 3rd Seal Opened
A. And when He opened the Third (3rd) Seal
1. I heard the Third Living Creature say,
2. And I looked and Behold
a. a Black Horse
Black:

3. And He who sat on it had a pair of Scales in
his hand.
Rationing, Inflation, Famine
a. A measure of wheat for a denarius,
Three (3) measures of barley for a denarius.
A measure of wheat or 3 measures of barley is the minimum
daily amount needed to sustain life for one person. A Denarius
was one days wages for one person.
ONE DAYS WAGES = ONE DAYS ALLOTMENT OF FOOD.
b. Harm not the Oil nor the wine.
Oil and wine industries will flourish.
Spiritually: New wine - New wineskins. Luke 5:36-39
Samaritan ministry Luke 10:33-35
Golden oil = Spirit Zech. 4:1-14
Anointed - oil of gladness Hebr. 1:9

THE
FOURTH SEAL
Chapter 6
Verses 7-8
6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard
the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.' 6:8
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on
him was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given
to them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword,
and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
IV 4th Seal Opened
A. When He opened the Fourth Seal I heard the
voice of the fourth Living Creature say,
B. And I looked and Behold
1. An Ashen Horse (Sickly Pale)
A light gray the color of Ash.
2. And he who sat on it had the name Death,
and Hades followed with him.
a. Authority was given to him over one quarter
(1/4) of the Earth to KILL:
1) with the Sword
2) with Famine
3) with Death (Pestilence, disease)
Jer. 15:1-9, 24:3-10, 29:4-20; Eze. 5:1-17, 14:20-23
Notice the First Four (4) Seals are Four (4) Horses.
The four horses are first mentioned in Zech. 6:1-8:
"Now I lifted my eyes again and looked, and behold,
four chariots were coming forth from between the two mountains;
and the mountains were bronze mountains. With the first chariot
were red horses, with the second chariot black horses,
with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth
chariot were strong dappled horses. Then I spoke to the
messenger who was speaking to me, "What are these, My lord?"
And the Messenger said to me, "These are the four Spirits
of heaven, going forth after standing before the Lord of all
the Earth, the one with the black horses are going forth to the
north country; and the white ones go forth after them, while the
dappled ones go forth to the south country." When the strong
ones went out they were eager to go to patrol the Earth.
And He said, "Go, Patrol the Earth." So they
patrolled the Earth. Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying,
"See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased
My wrath in the land of the north.""

THE
FIFTH SEAL
Chapter 6
Verses 9-11
6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under
the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God,
and for the testimony which they held: 6:10 And they cried
with a loud voice, saying, 'How long, O Lord, holy and true, will
you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"
6:11 And white robes were given to every one of them;
and it was said to them, that they should rest yet for a little
season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that
should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
V. 5th Seal Opened
A. When He opened the Fifth (5th) Seal I saw:
1. UNDER the Alter

c. They were each given a white robe.

1) for a little while longer
2) until their fellow servants and brethren who
were to be killed even as they were should be completed also.
The number of those who are to die in the Messiah has to
be completed before the resurrection can
take place.
- 1Corinthians 15:22-23
- "For as in Adam all die, so also in the Messiah all
shall be made alive. But each in his own order: (1) the
Messiah the first fruits, (2) after that those who are the
Messiah's at His coming, (3) then the end,"
- 1Thess. 4:16-17
- "The dead in The Messiah shall rise FIRST then
we who are alive and remain shall be caught up with them in the
clouds to meet the Lord in the air."
- Revelation 20:4-5
- "And I saw the souls of those who had been
beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the
word of God, and those who had not worshipped the beast
or his image, and had not received the mark upon their forehead
and upon their hand; and they came to life and reigned
with the Messiah for a thousand years....... This is the FIRST
resurrection."

2.

tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their
places. 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great
men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty
men, and every bondsman, and every free man, hid themselves in
the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 6:16 And said
to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face
