INSET #1:
The Sealing of the Servants of God
Chapter 7
Verses 1-3
7:1 And after these things I saw four messengers
standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds
of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor
on the sea, nor on any tree. 7:2 And I saw another messenger
ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and
he cried with a loud voice to the four messengers, to whom it
was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 7:3 Saying, Hurt
not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed
the servants of our God in their foreheads.

with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's
name written in their foreheads...... the hundred and forty and
four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are
they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.
These are they which follow the Lamb where ever he goes. These
were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to
God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile:
for they are without fault before the throne of God."
Rev. 14:1, 3-5
Chapter 7

upon the throne, and to the Lamb."
C. The Innumerable Multitude

1. After this: (After the Numbering of those sealed

Chapter 7
Verses 13-14
7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "What
are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?"
7:14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." And
he said to me, "These are they which came out of great tribulation,
and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood
of the Lamb."
E. Description of the Great Multitude
1. One of the Elders questions John:
a. "Who are these in white robes?"
b. "Where did they come from?"
2. John says, "You know, tell me."
3. The Elder answers, "These are they that
a. Come out of The Great Tribulation
Answers the question, "Where did they come from?"
Where?? ----> Out of The Great Tribulation!!
b. Washed their robes
1) Making them white in the Blood of the LAMB."
Answers the question, "Who are these in white robes?"
Note that the robes are washed in the "Blood of the Lamb"
not in their own blood.
Chapter 7
Verses 15-17
7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and
serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the
throne shall dwell among them. 7:16 They shall hunger
no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light
on them, nor any heat. 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the
midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them to living
fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes.
F. The Rewards of the Great Multitude
For this reason:
1. They stand before the Throne of God
2. They serve Him day and night in His Temple
3. He (Who sits on the Throne) dwells among them
4. They hunger no more - The LAMB (Who is in the midst
of the Throne) shall feed them
5. They thirst no more - The LAMB leads them to the Fountains
of Living Waters
6. The sun nor any heat shall light upon them
7. God shall wipe away their tears
Note the number Seven (7).
Compare with The Rewards For The Overcomers:
1. They will be clothed with white raiment.
2. They will eat of the hidden manna.
3. They will eat of the TREE OF LIFE.
4. They will not partake of the second death.
5. Their name remains secure in the LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE.
6. They receive the VICTOR'S WREATH OF LIFE (crown of life).
7. They receive a WHITE STONE with their SECRET NEW NAME,
They also receive God's name (the adoption) and Jesus' new Name
(Married Name).
8. They'll have their name confessed before the Father
and His Heavenly Messengers (Angels).
9. They will become a pillar in the TEMPLE OF GOD.
10. They will receive the MORNING STAR.
11. They will rule(Shepherd) with the MESSIAH JESUS the
Nations with a rod of iron.
12. They will sit with JESUS on HIS THRONE.
In this Insert John sees two aspects of the same process:
The sealing of the servants of God.
- (1) The first
- is the sealing of the Remnant of the children of Israel and
the number there of.
- (2) The second
- is the end result of the sealing and includes ALL those who
were sealed - a multitude without number. When John asked who
these were, he was told they were those who washed their robes
white in the blood of the Lamb. Who does this represent?
Notice it says:
"in the blood of the Lamb"
not
"in their own blood".
