Central Coast's
The Rogue Voice
A Literary Paper with an Edge

We're 'The Rogue Voice' a literary paper with an edge.
By Stacey Warde

As you may already know, Dell Franklin and I have pooled our talents to publish an outlet for rogues like ourselves.  We're calling it, aptly enough, The Central Coast Rogue Voice.  Or, The Rogue Voice.  Or, you can call us, The Rogues.

We dedicate this debut edition of The Rogue Voice to Rose Franklin, 1917-2005.

People have asked: "What a rogue?  What kind of paper is it?"

As Dell explains, "a rogue is anyone who goes his own way and makes exceptions to the rules."  I'd add that a rogue chooses to live the way that suits him best, not under the crack of a whip, but guided by his best instincts, talents and gifts.  Sometimes, that means standing up for what you believe, even if you're in the minority.  Sometimes, it means screwing up.
