Welcome to the HAUNTED Drum Lounge, where what happens after hours is a big surprise to the wierdo janitor who comes to work a little too early and gets up on a stool to change a bulb when he realizes he isn't alone!  You won't find too many midi files cookin' as much as the one selected to accompany the animation.  It was created by Ben Lewis (piano) Rene Amesse (percussion) and Wade Culbreath (vibes) by sending midi files to each other over the internet so they could add their parts.  Please be patient while the animation and music load into your computer.  Image files load before Midi files.  That's the way things are in the Browser World.  This flaw in the multi-media experience is a minor glitch compared to the frustration you may be feeling as this page loads on a 28.8 Kbps or slower connection.  But it will be worth the wait just to hear the excellent latin jazz treatment of a tune usually played in 3/4 swing time.  Please turn on your computer's speakers and then wait until the music starts to play before scrolling down to enter the Lounge, a portal to the Small Town Jazz Drummer's Gigbook.
